Residential House, 83 Castlewood Dr

This house is composed of clay bricks laid in a stretcher bond. The bricks are brown, tan and black coloured and have barely any defects. The columns supporting the entry way have some protruding bricks that create a nice 3D element. The sills have half bricks and the room at the left of the image is octagonal in shape and has multiple brick columns supporting it as there are many windows around the octagon (needs to be reinforced by the columns because of the large load above the windows). The mortar is 5 mm offset joints (rake joints) and it may be noted that there are some inconsistent lines in the laying of the bricks (mortar slightly thinner in some places).
